Meghan Markle predicts President Trump’s tariffs will plunge the US into a recession but doesn’t worry for her new “As Ever” brand, calling her luxe honeys and jams “accessible” and “creature comforts.”

The Duchess of Sussex argued that her selection of jams, honeys, teas and flower sprinkles — which market for between $9 and $28 — will bring people “joy” during potential upcoming difficult times.

“I think during any time of recession, people still want to find creature comforts, items that can bring them joy,” Markle said during the interview with Fortune Magazine.

“At the moment, all of our products are currently made in the US, so we don’t anticipate tariffs affecting us directly,” the former “Suits” actress went on, referring to President Trump launching tariffs in a bid to protect American trade interests.

“But as we look at the larger context of how this is going to affect the consumer day to day, I’m very grateful that in part of the conception of this brand, I wanted to create products that look more prestige, but are more accessible and affordable,” she added.
