Joy Behar was not buying Bethenny Frankel’s seemingly candid response to the backlash she received for her viral walk at the Sports Illustrated swimsuit fashion show.
The ladies of The View were discussing why women such as Kris Jenner, Cheryl Burke, and Frankel have been forced to share whether or not they have undergone plastic surgery or other procedures when they shared a recent video of Frankel attempting dispel the unrealistic expectations set by Hollywood and the entertainment industry.
In the video, which was shared on social media after her runway appearance, Frankel said, “Every women that was with me on that stage did not look that way two hours prior. It was everybody’s job. … There is a lot of work that goes into [it], a lot of glam, a lot of contouring, a lot of lighting.”
Behar was the first to pipe up. But she made a shocking remark that sent all of The View into hysterics.
“Well, I admire her candor but her boobs are still fake… Just saying,” she quipped.
Later, when Sara Haines remarked, “Of course, no one wakes up like that,” Behar joked, “That’s not true, I wake up exactly like this.”

She then shared a hilarious moment she recently had with her husband.
“I said to my husband the other day, ‘My boobs are hanging so low now that they’re touching my knees,’” she recounted to her co-hosts. “And he says to me, ‘No wonder you keep tripping.’”
Talk about getting candid!
But the discussion still inspired some honest takes from The View hosts, most notably from Whoopi Goldberg.
“Look, I do wake up like this,” Goldberg said, prompting applause from the audience. “And that’s always been my M.O. I used to be much bigger and now I’m small because I take a shot that helps me function with my body.”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
