YMU Talent Director Rebekka Taylor & Legal Boss Josie Mackie Join Rival Agency Off Limits Group

EXCLUSIVE: Off Limits Group, the talent agent to Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson and Celebrity Big Brother‘s Chris Hughes, has turned to YMU to beef up its leadership team.

Rebekka Taylor, talent director in YMU’s global entertainment unit, has joined as head of entertainment. Josie Mackie, YMU’s legal director, has also jumped ship to Off Limits Group (OLG), where she will take up the role of head of legal and business affairs.

They are joined by Jessie Brooks, who will become OLG’s head of brand partnerships. Brooks was previously VP director, influencers and partnerships, at PR agency Golin.

OLG, previously known as Off Limits Entertainment, was founded in 2017 by Chris Drake, Jim Erwood, and Rossella Castellana. Its other clients include Ashley Cain, star of BBC series Ashley Cain: Into the Danger Zone, and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Tasha Ghouri.

Drake said the hires of Taylor, Mackie, and Brooks were a signal that OLG was “hugely expanding” its ambitions. The company, which also considers itself an influencer marketing agency, has also launched OLG Studios, a dedicated creative hub, offering content production for talent.
