A WWE NXT star announced on Monday that he is leaving the company. The superstar revealed his decision after spending four years with the promotion.

In a video posted to his social media accounts, Edris Enofe confirmed that he has officially departed from WWE. The announcement marks the end of his tenure with the NXT brand.

In the video, Enofe explained that leaving WWE was a personal choice. He stated that it was a decision he had been considering for a long time.

He said, “As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision I have thought about for a very long time, and I’m gonna trust my gut on this.”

Enofe then took the time to thank the people he worked with during his four years in the company. He expressed gratitude for everyone from the talent to the behind-the-scenes staff.

“With that being said, for the past 4 years I have had the chance to meet and work with incredible people, from the wrestlers, to the referees, the creative teams, the medical staff and of course all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better, and for that I will always, always appreciate y’all.”

He concluded his message with a heartfelt thank you to his supporters. “And of course to all the fans who have supported me through all these years, thank you.”

A Look at Edris Enofe’s NXT Career

Edris Enofe signed with WWE in 2021 as part of the initial NXT 2.0 class. He quickly found a role on television and became known for his charisma and athletic ability.

His most notable run came as a member of a tag team with Malik Blade. The duo became a popular act with the NXT audience, frequently challenging for the NXT Tag Team Championships, though they were never able to secure the titles.

Enofe’s departure now leaves his long-time tag team partner, Malik Blade, without a clear direction on the NXT brand. Blade has not yet commented publicly on the announcement, and with the annual Halloween Havoc event approaching, his future is expected to be a storyline focus on upcoming episodes of NXT.
