Who is Norlan Guzman-Fuentes? Update on Dallas ICE center shooting

Norlan Guzman-Fuentes, a national of El Salvador, was killed during the fatal shooting at the Dallas ICE facility, while two other detainees were wounded, according to an ICE press release.

All three men involved in the Dallas ICE facility shooting had prior criminal records in the United States. Last week, 29-year-old Joshua Jahn opened fire at the facility before taking his own life. On Thursday, FBI Director Kash Patel said Jahn had left behind a note saying he wanted to “give ICE agents real terror.”

Guzman-Fuentes, a national of El Salvador, had been arrested previously on charges that included battery, criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated, improper exhibition of a firearm or dangerous weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to DHS sources.

Miguel Angel Garcia-Hernandez, a Mexican national, had convictions that included providing false information, evading arrest, driving while intoxicated, and fleeing from police, per DHS. Jose Andres Bordones-Molina, a Venezuelan national, had a record that included theft of property and a traffic offense, DHS sources told Newsweek.
