When does Spotify Wrapped 2025 come out?

Spotify Wrapped is one of the most anticipated parts of the end of the year, as millions of listeners wait to see their top songs, artists, genres and streaming habits. 

Spotify has not officially announced the release date for Spotify Wrapped 2025, but the streaming company’s historical schedule gives us a good idea of when it might drop this year. 

Spotify Wrapped 2025 Expected Release Date

Spotify releases Wrapped at nearly the same time each year—typically in the last week of November or the first few days of December. Here’s a look at previous release dates:

• 2024: December 4
• 2023: November 29
• 2022: November 30
• 2021: December 1
• 2020: December 1
• 2019: December 5

This consistent pattern means Spotify Wrapped 2025 will likely launch in early December, with historical dates pointing to a release between December 1–5.

Online, people have already started to second guess what their Spotify Wrapped will look like this year. “Has Spotify stopped counting towards wrapped?” asked one user on X. While another shared a picture of their most listened artists and said: “This is how my Spotify wrapped will look like and honestly I am satisfied with it.”

Spotify Changed How It Tracks Wrapped Data

In 2024, Spotify has updated how it calculates users Wrapped stats. 

For years, Spotify stopped counting listening data on October 31, meaning anything played in November or December didn’t count toward your Wrapped totals.

But in 2024 Spotify revealed that it extended tracking into November, giving listeners a couple extra weeks to shape their final stats.

This gives users the chance to boost an artist or song they want in their Top 5, offset an overplayed track or influencer their rankings in another way. 

How To Get Spotify Wrapped

To get ready for when Spotify Wrapped does release, users should make sure their Spotify app is up to date. Wrapped is available to users with and without premium subscriptions. 

When Spotify Wrapped is available to view, the app will prompt users to view their interactive data roundup on their smartphone or desktop app.

When Does Apple Music Replay Release?

While Spotify Wrapped is a once-a-year reveal, Apple Music takes a different approach. Apple Music Replay is available year-round and updates top songs, artists and albums each month. 

Apple Music Replay typically also releases its annual round-up of listener’s behavior in early December, giving users their top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists and stations.
