Trump met with boos and cheers at Yankees game after US Open reaction

President Donald Trump was greeted with boos and cheers when he attended a New York Yankees game on the 24^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on Thursday.

Footage posted online shows the mixed reaction from the crowd as Trump arrived to take his seat and waved to the crowd. There were also widespread cheers and boos as Trump saluted during the national anthem.

It came after Trump was also booed by the crowd when he attended the U.S. Open men’s final between Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Italy’s Jannik Sinner on Sunday.

Trump sat behind security glass installed in the upper level box suite belonging to the Steinbrenner family, which owns the Yankees.
