Teens killed in Round Rock apartment complex shooting identified

AUSTIN (KXAN)– Two people killed in a shooting at a Round Rock apartment complex Saturday have been identified by the Round Rock Police Department.
Brian Kinney, 17, of Austin, and Samuel Mason, 18, of Pflugerville, were killed during a robbery at the Bellwood Apartments located at 1401 S A.W. Grimes Boulevard, according to Round Rock Police. RRPD did not identify the two others who were injured.
Police said on social media the shooting happened after two groups met up to sell a firearm. The department said during the sale, a gun was shot, leaving four people with gunshot wounds.

Two people died at the scene and two others were transported to a local hospital, Round Rock Police said.
