Shooting in Cedar Park prompts heavy police presence

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Cedar Park Police said it responded to a shooting in Cedar Park Sunday night in the 2600 block of Stapleford Drive, according to the department’s social media.

CPD said it had a large police presence in the area.

In a social media update just after 9 p.m., CPD said the shooting appeared to be a domestic incident. The suspect involved has not been detained and it is unknown if they are armed at this time, according to police.
