The One Chicago Universe will collide once again as NBC‘s Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. set their first crossover event for 2026, premiering Wednesday, March 4 from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT.

As a reminder, the order in which the shows will air for the crossover will be adjusted, as has been done with previous events. The night will kick off with Chicago Fire, followed by Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. will close out the celebration.

NBC released the following official logline for the crossover:

Firehouse 51 is called to an airfield when a passenger jet suddenly goes silent mid-air, triggering a high-stakes emergency. Their discovery cracks open a bigger and deadlier mystery — one with consequences that could ripple far beyond the runway and put countless lives in jeopardy.

One Chicago crossovers have always been a popular night for fans; however, they had been on pause since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic. Last year, the event returned and was overwhelmingly supported by fans of the franchise.

The trio of shows continues to be popular on NBC’s Wednesday nights, with One Chicago holding on to the no. 1 spot of the night’s drama on television in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo. The franchise has reached nearly 32 million viewers across all platforms this season.

All three Chicago series are produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
