NFL legend Jerry Ruce predicts winner of Super Bowl LX

Super Bowl 60 is officially set for Feb. 8, with the New England Patriots facing the Seattle Seahawks after both advanced over the weekend with thrilling AFC and NFC Championship wins.
The game will be played at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, and with the Bay Area hosting the biggest game of the year, NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice — who played the prime years of his career with the 49ers — shared his prediction for the matchup.
Rice appeared on “The Rich Eisen Show” Wednesday and called his shot, predicting that the Seahawks, currently favored by 4½ points according to DraftKings Sportsbook, will come out on top against New England.
“I just don’t think… you know, with Drake Maye, there’s this little talk about his shoulder — I don’t believe that,” Rice said. “I think they deserve to be there, I just don’t think they’ll be able to shut down the Seattle offense. And also, with Seattle, it’s about that defense. So I’m picking Seattle to win the game.”

Rice knows a thing or two about winning Super Bowls and performing in big games, having won three Lombardi Trophies during his career from 1985 to 2004. He was a 13-time Pro Bowler, 10-time All-Pro, and recorded more than 1,500 receptions, nearly 23,000 receiving yards, and 197 touchdowns over his 20-year career.
His final year in the NFL was actually spent with the Seattle Seahawks. While he was clearly in the twilight of his career, he still managed to start nine of the 11 games he appeared in after being traded from the Oakland Raiders earlier that season.
The Seahawks’ only Super Bowl victory came in 2014, when they defeated the Denver Broncos. They returned the following year — coincidentally against the Patriots — in one of the most dramatic endings in NFL history, losing 28-24.
Now, Seattle will face New England again, with both teams sporting completely revamped rosters and the Patriots searching for their seventh Super Bowl title — a first without Tom Brady and Bill Belichick at the helm.
