Nancy Pelosi’s clash with reporter over National Guard goes viral—”Shut up”

Footage of Nancy Pelosi telling a reporter to “shut up” after being asked whether she refused to deploy the National Guard during the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol has gone viral.

Alison Steinberg, a reporter for LindellTV, approached Pelosi in a huddle outside the Capitol and asked: “Are you at all concerned about the new January 6 committee finding you liable for that day? Why did you refuse the National Guard on January 6?”

Pelosi replied: “Shut up. I did not refuse the National Guard, the president didn’t send it. Why are you coming here with Republican talking points as if you’re a serious journalist?”

A clip of the incident shared on X by LindellTV went viral, receiving more than 1.5 million views. LindellTV was created by Mike Lindell, a close ally of President Donald Trump.
