[ad_1]

France‘s Les Arcs Coproduction Village has unveiled the 18 European feature film projects selected for its 17th edition in December.

The initiative, aimed at helping projects to find coproducers, sales agents, distributors, and other financing partners, runs within the framework of the Industry Village of Les Arcs Film Festival.

It has previously supported films such as Oscar-winning animation Flow and Venice Grand Jury Prize winner Vermiglio in recent years.

Chosen from 391 submissions, the selection includes nine projects by female filmmakers, two by a female-male duo and seven by male directors, while female directed projects represented 41% of the submissions.

The projects will compete for the Eurimages Co-production Development Award, worth €20,000 and the ArteKino International Award, worth €6000.

This year, Greece is the Country of Focus at the festival and as result three Greek projects have been invited to Coproduction Village as well as a delegation of professionals.

In addition to the selection of projects, the Industry Village will offer a program of conferences, meetings, workshops and masterclasses that will be announced soon.

Additionally, the Music Village will gather more than 200 professionals from the music and film industry (music supervisors, editors, composers around activities such as dedicated one-to-one meeting sessions, workshops, music and cinema masterclasses.
