How the Jets’ QB draft plans could get complicated if Shedeur Sanders falls to No. 7

The Jets have declared that Justin Fields will be QB1 in 2025.

But does that mean they won’t draft a quarterback?

I don’t think so, but the question to me is what level of commitment the Jets make at quarterback in this year’s draft.

Is it taking a flyer on a quarterback on Day 3, a guy who will be expected to sit on the bench for a while and maybe develop into a backup? Or do they grab one on Day 2 who can take some time on the bench but then be a possibility in 2026?
