Former Dolphins, Giants Superstar Retires? Odell Beckham Jr. Clears Air

The Miami Dolphins signed Odell Beckham Jr. last offseason. The former New York Giants superstar did not have a huge impact and is currently a free agent.

While Beckham is not on a team, he has not retired. However, on Tuesday, a fake report on social media went viral, suggesting Beckham had retired. Countless accounts started congratulating him on a great career, but the wide receiver quickly addressed the report and shut it down.

Beckham implored everyone to “stop reading everything on the internet” while letting everyone know that he’s not ready to retire yet.

“Not done yet,” Beckham added in a follow-up post. “Thanks for … concerns and have a blessed day.”

Beckham is a three-time Pro Bowler, two-time Second-Team All-Pro, Super Bowl champion and 2014 Associated Press Rookie of the Year. Beckham also made what many regard as the best catch of all time.

Beckham’s best years came with the New York Giants, and he has not really had much of an impact since 2021. He was traded to the Los Angeles Rams that season and ended up being an important piece in their Super Bowl victory.

He had just 55 yards on nine catches last season with the Dolphins. He was once one of the best players in the entire NFL, but he has since declined. He is still available for a team to sign.
