The item was sold on September 18, 2025, and customers are instructed to stop using the product and dispose of it immediately. Full refunds are being issued at Costco locations.

A regional recall for 12 Midwestern states was issued for unopened bottles of Kirkland Signature Prosecco due to the potential for spontaneous shattering, even when not handled. The affected states include: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, covering purchases made between April 25 and August 26, 2025.
Customers are warned not to open the bottles and to dispose of them by carefully wrapping the unopened glass in paper towels and placing it in a plastic bag before discarding it in the garbage. Refunds will be provided with proof of the member letter at any Costco location.

Dubai Style Chocolate

Rolling Pin Baking Company issued a notice on September 4, regarding its Dubai Style Chocolate, which was sold between May 1 and August 29. The allergen statement on the packaging incorrectly listed “gluten” instead of “wheat,” potentially causing confusion for customers with wheat allergies.
While the health risk is assessed as minimal—since gluten is still noted on the label and wheat is present in the listed ingredients—the company urged affected customers to return the product to Costco for a full refund.

Eddie Dayan, quality assurance director at Rolling Pin Baking Company, wrote in the recall letter that although wheat was not explicitly mentioned, Kunefa—“which is known to contain wheat”—was listed in the ingredients, and the health risk was considered minimal.
