Confident Cor’Dale Flott wants to let his play do the talking in Giants cornerback battle

Cornerbacks can be mouthy, but that is not Cor’Dale Flott’s way.

He cannot talk himself into winning a starting job and so why bother chirping about it anyway?

He can go out and take the job, though, and if he is the last man standing in his mano a mano competition with Deonte Banks, Flott will not hide his satisfaction.

“It would mean a lot to me,’’ Flott told the Post. “For myself, my teammates, the coaches trust me and players trust me too. It would mean a lot. Honestly I’m still here competing. I’m just levelheaded and focusing on getting better.’’
