EXCLUSIVE: Blumhouse we hear are acquiring the perspective rights to Twisted Pictures’ portion of the Saw franchise.

Blumhouse is essentially taking over the IP’s ownership from Twisted’s Mark Burg and Oren Koules. 

Lionsgate will continue to be involved as a partner.

There isn’t development on another movie yet.

Creatively the franchise comes to back to its architect James Wan.

The Saw franchise has grossed over $1 billion at the global box office from ten movies.
