Bills’ Josh Allen Drops Another Head-Turning Super Bowl Quote

Through the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills have looked the part of a Super Bowl contender. Josh Allen and company are focused solely on winning a championship this year and anything short of that would be a failure.

Over the last few years, the Bills have been close. Unfortunately, they have been unable to take the final step towards winning an elusive championship.

Heading into the 2025 season, hopes have been high in Buffalo. It’s not easy to win a Super Bowl, but the Bills seem to have the talent needed to make it happen. Should the entire team play up to its full potential, their goal is reachable.

Allen has been very open about his desire to bring a championship back to Buffalo. Once again, he has spoken out about that goal.

In a new interview with ESPN, Allen opened up with another Super Bowl message. His faith is helping him pursue that ultimate goal.

“You have to continue to keep giving yourself chances, and I feel like, one thing that I’ve for sure learned this last offseason is trusting in God’s timing,” Allen said.

“It’s never wrong, and when it’s meant to happen, it’ll happen, and you just got to continue to keep putting yourselves in opportunities where it could happen.”

Already, the 2025 season has looked special. In Week 1, the Bills overcame a massive deficit late in the game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. Last week, Allen didn’t play well but Buffalo still dominated the New York Jets by a final score of 30-10.

Now, the Bills are set for a Thursday Night Football matchup with the AFC East rival Miami Dolphins.

Regardless of what happens this season, Allen is firm in his faith. He knows that everything will happen as it’s supposed to. That alone can bring an extremely important peace in what is an otherwise very stressful NFL season.

He also spoke out about how winning a Super Bowl or not doesn’t impact who he is as a person. Allen is comfortable with himself and his pursuit of a title.

“Winning a Super Bowl doesn’t change who I am or change my life either,” Allen said. “But it’s something that the city’s wanted for a very long time and to feel like I can help be a piece that brings it here, that’s more important to me than a singular trophy.”

Hopefully, he’ll be able to achieve his goal of bringing a championship to his city. Should he be able to make that happen, he would go down as arguably the biggest star in Buffalo franchise history.
