Becky Lynch calls out WWE issue after Survivor Series WarGames results

Following her team’s loss in Saturday’s Survivor Series event, furious Becky Lynch called out WWE over what she felt was another major issue hindering her and other wrestling stars’ success.

Becky teamed up with Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend in the premium live events women’s WarGames match, which kicked off the show. The five competed against a team featuring Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, and AJ Lee.

It was a brutal match, taking place inside two side-by-side rings surrounded by a steel cage. Weapons became part of the match as superstars brought in trash cans with lids, kendo sticks, and chains to wield against their opponents.

The finish featured AJ getting to lock once again her submission finisher on Becky, whom she’d defeated similarly at WWE Wrestlepalooza. The referee, Jessika Carr, indicated Becky tapped out and called the match in favor of AJ and her teammates.

However, during the WWE Survivor Series WarGames post-show on ESPN, Peter Rosenberg indicated he spoke with Becky after the match, and she said that she never tapped out. Instead, she claimed she was attempting to wave her teammates over to help her break out of AJ’s hold.

“THERE IS AN OFFICIATING PROBLEM WITHIN THE WWE!!! EVERYONE KNOWS THIS!!!” Becky wrote on X in her first of several fiery messages, aiming at referees.

“INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING THE SITUATION AND INDEFINITELY SUSPENDING CORRUPT OFFICIALS LIKE JESSIKA CROOKED CARR, THEY THINK IT’S EASIER TO AWARD CHEATERS AND SWEEP THIS ALL UNDER THE RUG!!! THE WWE UNIVERSE DESERVES BETTER!” she also wrote on X.

Becky also retweeted Rosenberg’s comments about her claims, along with the video highlight of the match finish. In another scathing X message, she slammed various individuals, including Rosenberg, Sam Roberts, Dave LaGreca, and Michael Cole. She also seemed to call for Ariel Helwani to step up and maybe speak to her about the situation for his YouTube show.

Becky’s loss during Survivor Series WarGames 2025 was the second significant loss in which she attempted to place blame on WWE and its officials. She previously lost the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine on “Monday Night Raw.”

During that match, AJ Lee’s music arrived, and she walked down to the ringside. After losing to Maxxine, Becky claimed AJ’s arrival was a distraction and indicated she would be talking to lawyers about action against WWE.

Most likely, the fallout from Survivor Series will carry over to Monday’s RAW, or Becky will continue her online protests and seek interviews outside of WWE to try to resolve her situation.
