APD: 1 dead following crash off Koenig Lane

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died Sunday following a collision near Koenig Lane and Airport Boulevard.

Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Police Department responded to the crash, and ATCEMS medics said an adult was pronounced dead at the scene after resuscitative efforts failed.

According to APD, the incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m., and the driver involved in the traffic fatality remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.

At the time of the crash, the intersection of West Koenig Lane at Airport Boulevard was closed to all traffic for the investigation.
