Ansel Elgort Confirms He Quietly Welcomed First Baby in Rare Message 

Ansel Elgort is embracing his latest role.

The Baby Driver star confirmed that he and his partner welcomed their first baby as he officially introduced his son to the world. 

“Fatherhood is exhilarating, exhausting, it’s everything and more,” Ansel wrote alongside a black and white photo of him cheek-to-cheek with his son in coordinating sweaters in a Feb. 10 Instagram. “The present feels more present and the future brighter.”

While the 31-year-old didn’t share his son’s name or birth date or the name of his partner—he did offer a glimpse at his baby boy’s qualities.

“He wakes us up all night and yet I’ve never felt stronger during the day,” he added. “He goes from crying to laughing, expressing everything he feels and it’s freed me to do the same.”

The Fault in Our Stars actor admitted that he had planned to keep his son’s birth private but ultimately, the news was too sweet to keep from the world.
