AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin firefighters worked to keep a structure fire from spreading to the Onion Creek Greenbelt in southeast Austin Wednesday.

The agency said on social media around 4:20 p.m. that crews responded to the 5700 block of Katydid Lane for the fire.

While fire crews extinguished those small fires in the area, AFD said crews were still working to extinguish the “difficult to access fire in debris.”

No other details were available Wednesday.
