Celebrity builder Joe Farrell has sold his Park Avenue pied-à-terre after raising its price.
The five-bedroom spread, at 510 Park Ave., between 60th and 61st streets, was last asking $5.49 million — up a good sum from $4.9 million last December.
Farrell purchased the prewar duplex for $3.56 million in 2013.
“Raising the price wasn’t emotional. I wanted to add value to the building, not dilute it,” said listing broker Kelly Killoren Bensimon, of Douglas Elliman.
Farrell, who built Madonna’s Hamptons home and once rented his own former East End former mansion to Jay-Z and Beyoncé, gut-renovated the 3,000-square-foot aerie, which features custom details like floor-to-ceiling steel doors with laminated glass.
The buyers are LA-based businessman Patrick Peyton and his wife, Jaleh, sources said.
The dwelling opens to a grand foyer. It features an open chef’s kitchen and living/entertaining area.
The main bedroom is a corner suite with a walk-in closet and a spa-like bath with radiant-heated floors. Two additional bedrooms feature ensuite windowed baths.
A fourth bedroom comes with built-in Murphy bunk beds, while a fifth bedroom currently functions as a home office.
Design details also include 8-inch white oak floors and custom millwork.
The 15-story boutique building with a two-story limestone base dates to 1925 and converted to co-ops in 1946. Amenities include a gym and bike storage. Maintenance fees are $8,950 a month.
