‘The View’s Sunny Hostin doubts Trump will release Epstein files without redactions: “It’s a corrupt presidency”

Sunny Hostin doesn’t think President Donald Trump will allow the full and true contents of the Jeffrey Epstein files to be released to the public.

On this morning’s episode of The View, the co-hosts discussed the House of Representatives’ nearly unanimous vote to release the Epstein files. However, Hostin was “skeptical” that Trump—who was allegedly named over 1,000 times in the files—would allow the information to be released without redactions.

The show’s legal analyst pointed to Attorney General Pam Bondi’s reported investigation into the Democrats in the files, which could stop them from being released.

“Pam Bondi is allegedly investigating the Democrats in the files,” Hostin said. “When there is a Grand Jury investigation, the Department of Justice cannot release any files that are related to the investigation. And remember, Donald Trump called for that investigation.”

Hostin went on to slam the POTUS and his “abnormal” presidency.

“In my view, because he is such an abhorrent president, because he is such an abnormal president, because there are no rules in this presidency, because it’s really just a monarchy, because it’s a corrupt presidency in my view, I just can’t imagine that a man that was mentioned over 1,000 times in these Epstein estate files would allow this to be released un-redacted,” Hostin said. “I just don’t buy it.”

The women have never silenced their feelings about Trump. Amid the government shutdown last month, which was the longest in U.S. history, Goldberg claimed that Trump viewed the United States in the same way he viewed his hosting job on The Apprentice.

“That’s our president. That’s our president y’all. And so everything that’s happening in Europe and everything that’s happening outside of here seems to be what he’s all about,” Goldberg said. “And he wants to make the U.S. The Apprentice.”

“I don’t know if I want to play that game,” she added. “I actually need somebody to take care of these folks.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
