If any one item has defined Hailey Bieber’s summer uniform, it’s capri pants.
She’s worn the trendy staple throughout the past few months, whether she’s dressing up her slim knee-length pants with a polka-dot print and silk The Row pouch or going more casual with a basic white tank top and a trench. The through line is almost always a pair of simple black kitten heels, which she brought back out for her latest outing in her go-to black capris.
On August 7, the 28-year-old model stepped out in another all-black take on her summer uniform, pairing her go-to capri trousers with her favored thong flip-flop heels. In fact, there would be nothing new to note about her minimalist attire, if not for her cropped black knit T-shirt that I’m now dying to add to my collection.
From the front, Bieber’s top appears to be a fitted boatneck tee that would be well-suited for any capsule wardrobe. However, an image taken from behind Bieber reveals a scooped back that evokes her ballet roots. It’s true—you do not need to embrace sneakerinas or Y2K wrap sweaters to give your look a dose of balletcore this fall (though Bieber is definitely a fan of the latter).
