Jeffrey Epstein’s bedroom on his island seen for first time in new video
Footage of Jeffrey Epstein‘s island house, including shots of his bedroom, have been revealed for the first time.
The images of the house on the island of Little Saint James were released by Epstein’s former boat captain, who said that unknowingly he “probably helped him commit a crime” in an interview with Inside Edition.
Newsweek contacted authorities in the Virgin Islands government for more information about the future of the island via email.
Why It Matters
Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 in a New York jail while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. According to some estimates, he abused more than 100 girls, and the total number of victims may be much higher. He also had well-documented connections to public and powerful figures, and his death has prompted numerous conspiracy theories.

What To Know
In the video, the interior of the Little Saint James house, which includes a swimming pool, can be seen from when the boat captain, Guy Dohm, escorted Epstein to the island.
The video shows a large bedroom with an office space, and a side room, which appears to hold equipment normally used by eye doctors.
Dohm told Inside Edition that he regularly shuttled Epstein to the island but that he had no awareness of what might have taken place there.
“The longer I think about it, the more I realize I probably helped him commit a crime,” Dohm said.
After Epstein’s death, the island was sold in 2023 to billionaire Stephen Deckoff for $60 million, the new owner announcing that it would be transformed into a luxury resort.

What Happens Next
There is currently no update as to how the island’s new owner plans to transform the island, or fix its reputation as the place where Epstein allegedly committed sex offenses.
