Christopher Meloni To Star In Dan Fogelman’s NFL Series For Hulu
Christopher Meloni is set to star in Hulu’s upcoming Dan Fogelman drama series set inside the world of the NFL, with a generational family component. Meloni is said to be playing the head coach of an NFL team.
The untitled drama, from 20th Television and Skydance Sports, is written and executive produced by Fogelman and executive produced by Jess Rosenthal with David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, and Jason T. Reed for Skydance Sports.
Meloni is the star of Law & Order: Organized Crime whose future on Peacock is uncertain. If the crime drama is renewed for a sixth season, he would be able to do both that and the Fogelman series.
Best known for his role as Detective Elliot Stabler on 12 seasons of Law & Order: SVU and five of Organized Crime to date, Meloni also headlined the Syfy series Happy. He will next be seen in the upcoming Netflix comedy film Little Brother with John Cena and Eric André.
He is repped by Gersh.
