British TV Stars Megan McKenna & Joe Baggs Sign With YMU

EXCLUSIVE: YMU has further additions to its talent roster, with Megan McKenna and Joe Baggs signing for representation.

McKenna began her career as a reality contestant on UK shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, Ex on the Beach and Big Brother before starring in her own ITV show, There’s Something About Megan releasing a studio album and winning The X Factor: Celebrities in 2019. She is now a two-time Sunday Times best-selling author through her gluten-free recipe cookbooks.

Baggs, meanwhile, also began his media career on reality TV, as part of the Baggs family in Channel 4 series Gogglebox. He has gone on to become a content creator and to build a sizeable social media following, with more than 350,000 currently subscribed to his Instagram account and 2.1 million on his TikTok. Baggs also hosts the Not My Bagg podcast.

“We’re delighted to welcome both Joe and Megan to the entertainment roster,” said YMU’s Managing Director of Global Entertainment, Lucy Loveridge. “Joe brings sharp wit, natural charm, and a fast-growing digital presence, while Megan continues to carve out a unique space as a multi-hyphenate talent – from music to food to motherhood and beyond. Both have incredible momentum and we’re excited to support them as they take the next big steps in their careers.”

Last week, we reported that YMU, which represents the likes of Simon Cowell and Graham Norton, had signed another UK TV personality, Spencer Matthews.

The company has been building out its entertainment ranks in recent months, being especially active in the influencer space, with the likes of Jack Remmington and Ash Holme also signing.

YMU welcomed new owners last year, with investor Permira Credit taking control after a period of post-pandemic restructure in a £60M ($80M) deal.
