APD searching for two suspects in north Austin aggravated robbery
AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said it was searching for two suspects related to an April 18 aggravated robbery in north Austin.
According to police, two suspects entered the Zebra Smoke Shop at 944 Payton Gin Road, pointed handguns at the employees and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
APD said the robbery happened just before 1 a.m.
The first suspect was described as a 6’0” Black man. Police said he was approximately 200-250 lbs. and armed with a dark colored handgun.
He was last seen wearing a white graffiti hooded sweater, maroon undershirt, green beanie, light colored pants and white and black shoes
APD said the second suspect was a 5’8” Hispanic man between 25 to 35 years old with a medium build. Police said he was also armed with a dark colored handgun.
According to police, the second suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black hat with a red and green flat brim and a sticker on the brim, and black shoes.
