ACL Fest Nights: What is it, who's playing and where?
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Want to experience Austin City Limits Music Festival but can’t get your hands on tickets that’ll get you into Zilker Park for it? There’s an alternate option.
The music festival vibe will shift from the park to the streets with ACL Fest Nights, where several Austin music venues are hosting “aftershow” concerts on the same nights that ACL is happening.
These shows are a great alternative for those looking to catch an act or two without having to stand in an audience of hundreds of thousands of people, spend several hundred dollars on tickets to see one artist, or for those who are more interested in the “smaller font” names on the lineup than the big headliners.
Bands and artists like Wet Leg, Dr. Dog, Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, Role Model, and so many more will perform across Austin throughout ACL Fest, without the hurdles and price tag of getting into Zilker for the festival.
Tickets for ACL Fest Nights go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Central Time. Presale tickets are already available for American Express Card Members for participating ACL Fest Nights shows.
