Switzerland is coming off a second-place finish in last year’s World Championship, falling to Czechia in the final. The nation has finished second three times since 2013 but has never won this tournament.

The USA is looking for its first medal since 2021, when it finished with a bronze medal. The team hasn’t won this tournament since back in 1960, but has made the semifinals in four of the last five years.
