‘King Of The Hill’ Reunion & Revival Sneak Peek Set For ATX TV Festival

The cast and creators of King of the Hill are reuniting at ATX TV Festival in May.

The festival announced the latest programming on Friday, also revealing that attendees will get a sneak peek at the upcoming series revival, which is set for Hulu this summer. The panel will include discussion on behind-the-scenes stories, favorite moments from making the show, and more.

Joining the event are co-creators and executive producers Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, executive producer and showrunner Saladin K. Patterson, and voice cast members Pamela Adlon, Lauren Tom and Toby Huss.

The event will take place on May 30 at 7 p.m. at The Paramount Theatre. Following the panel, ATX and Hulu are joining forces for a backyard BBQ, King of the Hill style.

The King of the Hill reunion joins a host of previously announced programming including and Opening Night Marquee Conversation with Seth Meyers, a conversation with Andor creator and EP Tony Gilroy and writer Beau Willimon, The Leftovers reunion with EPs and cast, a tenth anniversary celebration of UNReal, a Mad Men retrospective with Jon Hamm, a conversation with Christine Baranski, and more.

Set in the fictional Arlen, Texas, King of the Hill followed the life of Hank Hill, an enthusiastic seller of propane and propane accessories; his wife, Peggy, local Boggle champ and substitute teacher; and their son, Bobby, who defied any expectation his father had for a son. Hank’s friends – conspiracy theorist Dale, military barber Bill and cool but inarticulate Boomhauer, along with Peggy’s friends Minh and Nancy, and Bobby’s friend Connie helped the Hills navigate a changing world.

ATX TV Festival Season 14 takes place May 29 to June 1 in Austin, Texas.
