Ana de Armas Responds to Evelyn Hugo Casting Rumors

“Once I was on set and Natalie Portman was like, ‘You know I just can’t think of anyone else to do Evelyn Hugo,’” the 35-year-old continued. “I was like, ‘Natalie Portman is saying that to me! That’s really fire.’” 

As for who should take on the task of portraying Evelyn in her later years? Eiza had some ideas.

“I’ve thought of both characters quite a lot, and it’s really hard to decide,” she shared, mentioning Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek and Sofía Vergara. “There’s so many amazing actresses.”
