Felicia Pride’s Honey Chile Acquires Film & TV Rights To ‘The Greene Sisters’ Romance Trilogy

EXCLUSIVE: Felicia Pride‘s (A Different World) Honey Chile Entertainment has acquired the film and television rights to Kristina Forest’s The Greene Sisters romance trilogy from Penguin Random House in a major expansion of the company’s slate.

The franchise, comprised of The Neighbor Favor, The Partner Plot, and The Love Lyric, centers on three accomplished sisters navigating career ambition, family expectations, and modern love. While each novel functions as a standalone, the trilogy collectively builds a cohesive portrait of contemporary Black sisterhood and romance. Praised for its vibrant and modern depiction of Black love, the series has amassed a devoted global readership.

Pride will write and produce the first installment and serve as producer on the remaining two films.

Pride is currently showrunner and executive producer of Netflix’s forthcoming sequel to A Different World, the iconic ’90s sitcom centered on Hillman College. The new series follows Deborah Wayne, the free-spirited youngest daughter of Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert, introducing a new generation navigating love, ambition, and identity within the legacy of an HBCU experience that shaped a cultural era.

Most recently, Pride served as Co-Executive Producer on Peacock’s drama Bel-Air, penning the final season premiere. The series has received seven 2026 NAACP Image Award nominations.

With The Greene Sisters, Pride expands the world-building she’s become known for, bringing her signature lens on intimacy, ambition, and modern Black love to the screen.
