1000-lb Sisters’ Amy Slaton Details “Haunted” Wedding With Husband Brian Lovvorn

Amy Slaton prefers her dream wedding to be a nightmare.

After all, the 1000-lb Sisters star and her husband Brian Lovvorn specifically asked that their Halloween nuptials be “haunted.”

“Let’s just say our bridesmaids are going to be ghosts,” Amy told her wedding planner in E! News’ exclusive look at the TLC show’s Jan. 6 season eight premiere. “I’m talking real-life ghosts—not costumes.”

However, the 38-year-old noted that some of her wedding guests aren’t too thrilled with the idea of her sharing the altar with a few shadowy spirits.

“We’re hoping my siblings will join,” said Amy, whose family includes sister Tammy Slaton and brother Chris Combs, “but they’re religious and got a lot of problems about the haunted part.”

Another hiccup in the wedding planning process? Finding a spooky venue that’s available on All Hallows’ Eve.

As Amy’s wedding planner noted, many brides “will book a year ahead” to secure the location.

“I didn’t know Brian a year ago,” Amy quipped. “I only know him 10 months ago.”
