After solving the case of the stolen laptop at Wheeler College, where President Jack Berenger (Max Greenfield) was being blackmailed into not accepting a $400 million donation, Danson and Mike Schur all but certainly have another case in mind for Charles and Julie (Lilah Richcreek Estrada) to solve. And since it’s now become a theme for the show to follow the pair to an interesting location and bring in a new cast of characters — Season 2 includes Danson’s real-life wife and frequent costar Mary Steenburgen — we can only imagine what the duo behind the series might have cooking. Is it too much to ask that we get Jameela Jamil or perhaps Manny Jacinto in the next season, giving us yet another reunion for The Good Place?

Will There Be a Season 3 of A Man on the Inside?
At this time, Netflix has not announced or publicly renewed A Man on the Inside for a Season 3. They have been known to renew shows internally, allowing the writers room to get to work on another season, although it’s unclear if that is happening in this case.
How Long Did It Take Netflix to Renew A Man on the Inside for Season 2?
After Season 1’s release in November 2024, it took Netflix about a month to announce that the series would be returning for a second season. Let’s hope that if the show is to come back for a third season, the renewal news comes as quickly, if not sooner.
How Does Season 2 of A Man on the Inside End?
After initially identifying Jack Berenger (Max Greenfield) as the laptop thief and blackmailer, only for Dr. Benjamin Cole to admit to the crime, Charles realizes that he had the whole situation wrong. In fact, rather than one person being responsible for the theft, it was a combined effort made possible by every member of the Wheeler College staff, who also helped in one way or another. The plot was led by Holly Bodgemark (Jill Talley), who heard about Brad Vinick’s (Gary Cole) plans to remake Wheeler, and recruited some of the other staff members and professors to help torpedo the deal. Rather than derail Holly’s career by sharing what she had done with the board, Charles opts to let her off the hook, leaving someone who truly cares about Wheeler in charge of the school. When Might A Man on the Inside Season 3 Release on Netflix?
Given that Schur and Danson have an affinity for turning out one new season every year, we can hope that A Man on the Inside Season 3, should it happen, will be released in November 2026.
