No. 16 Westlake looking to bounce back at Del Valle after Battle of the Lakes loss

AUSTIN (KXAN) — It’s not often teams take on the Westlake Chaparrals after they’ve lost, but Del Valle might be in for a long night on Halloween at Veterans Stadium.

The No. 16 Chaps and Cardinals kick off at 7:30 p.m., and the broadcast provided by the Westlake Technical Entertainment crew begins at 7:20 p.m. on KXAN.com and KXAN+.

The game can also be viewed in the video player above. For viewing outside of the Austin area, you’ll have to use NFHS Network, and that requires a subscription fee.

Westlake allowed 451 total yards to the Cavaliers last week, but the 1-7 Cardinals haven’t won since their season opener Aug. 29 against Cedar Creek. Dripping Springs hung 63 points on Del Valle last week in a shutout.
