Austin Public Library makes changes to rental fees, event spaces

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Public Library (APL) updated its fee schedule for event space rentals at the Central Library. The changes took effect Oct. 1.

Available rental spaces & fees:

  • Roof Garden & Indoor Living Room – $3,000 (6-hour rental)
  • Special Event Center – $2,600 (4-hour rental)
  • Art Gallery – $1,200 (4-hour rental)
  • Demonstration Area – $400 (2-hour rental)
  • Outdoor Amphitheater – $300 (2-hour rental)

According to APL, the new fees reflected an increased demand, as well as the value of the spaces.
